Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Technical Project Lead with expertise in Xano and strong project management abilities. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the back-end infrastructure, ensure smooth integrations with third-party platforms, and collaborate closely with the front-end team. This role requires both hands-on technical development and the ability to plan, manage, and deliver projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage back-end development using Xano, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performing.
Collaborate with the Bubble.io front-end team to deliver seamless, integrated features.
Design, build, and maintain API integrations with platforms such as Guesty, Lodgify, and Uplisting.
Optimize database queries and API endpoints to improve performance and efficiency.
Act as a technical project manager: plan sprints, prioritize tasks, track milestones, and ensure timely delivery.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of APIs, workflows, and processes.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues swiftly.
Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Proven expertise with Xano back-end development and API integrations.
Strong project management experience: sprint planning, milestone tracking, and team coordination.
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in this role.
Solid understanding of database design (PostgreSQL/MySQL), scalability, and security best practices.
Proficiency in JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and JSON handling.
Experience with CI/CD workflows and performance optimization.
Excellent command of English (written and spoken) for effective communication.
Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving.
Ability to work independently while providing consistent progress updates.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Working knowledge of Bubble.io development.
Background in SaaS platforms or the short-term rental/property tech industry.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.
