Job Description:

This position supports the daily operations of the Stacy Riddle Forum by serving as one of the primary student staff members for building oversight, scheduling, and facility support. This position ensures smooth scheduling of events and meetings, monitors building use, assists with facility needs, and provides excellent customer service to students, staff, and guests. In addition, this position may work closely with FSL staff to support community-wide projects and initiatives within the broader community.

Key Responsibilities:

Building Management & Oversight
Serve as a building manager during assigned shifts, ensuring the facility is safe, welcoming, and well-maintained.
Open and close the facility according to policies, ensuring rooms are secured and ready for use.
Conduct routine walkthroughs to monitor usage, address policy compliance, and report maintenance concerns.
Act as the first point of contact for questions about building operations and usage policies.

Scheduling & Administrative Support

Assist with scheduling and reservations for meeting rooms and event spaces.
Maintain accurate records of facility usage, calendars, and reservation requests.
Communicate with student organizations, campus departments, and external stakeholders to confirm details and logistics.
Provide administrative support such as responding to emails, managing spreadsheets, and updating scheduling software.
Help ensure efficient use of space through proactive communication and organization.

FSL Projects & Program Support

When necessary, provide logistical and administrative support for fraternity and sorority programs, events, and initiatives.
