Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and governance of scalable cloud infrastructure. In this role, you’ll apply your deep expertise in DevOps, infrastructure provisioning, identity and access management, and advanced services such as Azure Synapse and Microsoft Fabric. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions.Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and provision cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
- Enforce robust security practices across cloud workloads using Azure Security Center, Key Vault, and Conditional Access
- Lead implementation and monitoring of Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric for data-driven solutions
- Maintain operational excellence through automated monitoring, alerting, and self-healing infrastructure
- Manage and govern Identity and Access Management policies using Azure Active Directory and RBAC
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices in resource configuration, tagging, and cost control
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with Azure cloud services
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and IaC tools
- Proven ability to secure enterprise cloud environments
- Strong knowledge of Azure Synapse, Fabric, and data lake architecture
- Experience implementing Zero Trust IAM frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

They are responsible for architecting secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure, often working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools to streamline deployments and operations. These engineers also play a key role in cloud migration projects, security and compliance, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Architecture and Design:
Designing and implementing secure, scalable, and resilient Azure solutions, including virtual networks, storage, compute, and databases.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Utilizing tools like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, or Bicep to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Cloud Migration:
Assisting with migrating existing on-premises infrastructure and applications to Azure.
- Security and Compliance:
Implementing and managing security controls, access management (RBAC), and compliance policies within the Azure environment.
- Automation:
Developing and maintaining automation scripts using tools like PowerShell or Azure CLI to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitoring the performance and cost of cloud resources, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing solutions.
- Troubleshooting and Incident Management:
Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues related to Azure infrastructure and applications.
- Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing:
Providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, sharing knowledge, and contributing to team development.
- Staying Up-to-Date:
Keeping abreast of the latest Azure services, features, and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Deep Expertise in Azure Services: Proficiency in core Azure services like virtual machines, networking, storage, databases, and security services.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Experience with tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Automation: Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.
- Cloud Networking: Experience designing and implementing virtual networks, VPNs, and security groups.
