As an Applied R&D Engineer, you’ll collaborate closely with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to bring innovative features to life and resolve defects with precision. You’ll craft robust unit, integration, and automation tests to ensure top-tier product quality, and partner with documentation teams so customers can seamlessly use new capabilities. This role is a hands-on journey—immersing you in cutting-edge technologies, agile processes, and the full SDLC—where you’ll take on growing responsibilities while mastering skills that shape next-generation products and solutions.

  • Independently handles tasks within established guidelines and policies, applying professional knowledge to analyze information, evaluate solutions, and make informed decisions.
  • Designs, develops, tests, and delivers hardware/software products, services, enhancements, and bug fixes aligned with customer requirements.
  • Resolves customer issues, diagnosing complex hardware, software, or integrated system problems, and providing effective resolutions or recommending corrective actions.
  • Plans technical requirements based on customer needs, manages controlled product releases, and oversees documentation, change control, and stakeholder communications.
  • Shares expertise by guiding new team members, training lower-tier support teams, and transferring technical knowledge to enhance team capability.
  • Upholds quality standards, contributes to process/tool improvements, and ensures rapid problem resolution in critical situations

You have:

  • A graduate or postgraduate in Engineering or an equivalent degree, with strong programming and problem-solving abilities and 1–4 years of professional experience in Java, Spring Boot, plus proficiency in SQL using MariaDB or PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with unit testing, and familiarity with Linux command-line operations for file management and system maintenance; bash scripting knowledge is an advantage.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as OpenStack and Amazon Web Services (AWS) is beneficial.
  • Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is highly valued.

It would be nice if you had:

  • Good knowledge in data structures and operating system concepts, SQL and relational databases such as Oracle.
  • Collaborates within an Agile team to design, develop, and deliver impactful product features.
