Seeking for an individual to execute the strategic plan drawn up for environmental sustainability, ensuring the organization remains environmentally responsible whilst achieving its business objectives and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visit internal SBU’s and identify sustainability projects that need to be implemented whilst, ensuring that the following activities are conducted in a timely and an effective manner.
• Take responsibility for the payments directed to the sustainability team by liaising with external vendors, receiving invoices and forward payment details to the Finance team whilst, following up on same in order to ensure the timeliness of payments..
• Analyze the performance of each plant divisionally, on environmental sustainability initiatives by collecting the Plant Environmental Sustainability KPIs documents on a monthly basis whilst, facilitating the following activities.
• Prepare the Eco Tracker (MAS Environmental Reporting Program) by collecting environmental data relevant to water, electricity, emissions etc.  and update same in a timely manner whilst, improving and modifying the system with the help of the MAS Central Environmental Sustainability Team in order to facilitate the establishment of sustainability KPI’s within the organization.
• Implement new strategies, develop innovative methods of handling Energy, Emission, Water and Waste across the organization in an effective manner by constantly researching on new technologies/ practices pertaining to same thereby, ensuring the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives.
• Engage in the following initiatives/ activities in an efficient and effective manner whilst, constantly liaising with Assistant Manager - Compliance & ESH Systems on future improvement initiatives and way forward plans.
• Ensure adherence to organizational standards in areas such as MOS, SOPs, compliance standards, health and safety and 5S in all day today activities whilst, assisting in relevant projects.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree /Diploma in Physical Science.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a similar capacity (Prior experience in project management would be desirable).
