About the Role:
As the RN PICU Educator, you will be instrumental in onboarding and training new nursing staff in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. This full-time position works day shift, Monday-Friday!

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary point of contact for PICU new team members, supporting onboarding and pre-hire requirements.
- Partner with the Nursing Professional Development Specialist to facilitate orientation programs.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating educational offerings for the PICU across various strategies.
- Coordinate operational activities alongside team members, subject matter experts, multimedia developers, and learning management specialists.
- Foster a learning environment for both internal staff and external providers.
- Collaborate with departmental leadership and other organizational units to identify educational needs and develop evidence-based curricula tailored to target audiences.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience in pediatric or critical care nursing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN or higher) required.
- Active Indiana RN license or valid Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license.
- Current CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications as specified by organization.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, regulatory standards, and educational program management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software applications.
- Ability to travel within the state of Indiana, as needed.
- Pediatric ICU nursing experience preferred.
