Position Overview:
Are you a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant seeking a better work-life balance? As a Healthcare Provider at Medi-Weightloss®, you will play a crucial role in educating patients on creating and maintaining a wellness-focused lifestyle that promotes longevity and quality of life. This approach is fundamental in preventing and managing chronic diseases. Under the supervision of the Medical Director, you will provide comprehensive patient care, including conducting physical exams, managing patient progress, and contributing to overall patient care management.
We are currently looking for a compassionate and experienced provider to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves rotating weekends and floating between our Roswell and Woodstock locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain and review patients' medical histories relevant to their care
- Conduct physical examinations
- Order and review laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
- Prescribe appetite suppressants according to state and federal guidelines
- Review patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
- Maintain all required documentation for patient care and medication management
- Conduct patient consultations and follow-up calls to address progress and concerns
- Provide training to clinical and non-clinical staff as needed
- Document patient progress in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Perform additional clinical duties as required
Qualifications:
- Valid Medical License (Required)
- DEA Certification (Preferred)
- Active CAQH profile preferred; credentialed provider (preferred)
- A team player who is passionate about Changing Lives (Required)
- Experience performing minimally evasive procedures (Plus)
- A willingness to be trained, adopt or be a champion for HRT (Required)
- Bilingual- English/Spanish (Plus)
Peachtree City Clinic Hours:
We are looking for someone that could cover the Friday and Saturday shift and ideally would be willing to do PRN for the other shifts
- Tuesday: 1pm - 7pm
- Wednesday: 1pm – 7pm
- Thursday: 8am - 12pm
- Friday: 7 am – 1 pm
- Saturday: 7 am – 1 pm
