Senior Manager, Platform Development – Sydney or Melbourne

Your Team

The Platform Growth team sits within our Superannuation & Investments business unit and is responsible for CFS Wrap platform and product development to deliver a market leading platform offer that meets the needs of our target market.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Wrap Transformation, the Senior Manager, Platform Growth plays an important part in the success of the team and the broader Wrap business.

Your Responsibilities

• Development of key platform product features and functionality aligned with our target market offer.
• End to end design and delivery of key features via effective engagement with key business areas.
• Key contributor during inception and discovery, detailed analysis and design phases of platform development and SME involvement during Build, UAT and Implementation. 
• Working effectively with third party solution providers as needed.   
• Balancing the needs of advisers and clients, CFS business strategy and the inevitable challenges associated with platform delivery.
• Playing a key role in operational process design.
• Providing SME into change management stream artefacts and activities.
• Contributing to the development of platform roadmap themes and feature prioritisation, as well as effective communication to stakeholders.   

Your Capability and Experience

 

• Proven experience in the wealth management sector, including end-to-end platform development and management.
• Strong understanding of how wrap platforms fit into the wealth management value chain spanning Advice, Investment Management and Operations. 
• Deep understanding of the functional components that make up a market leading wrap platform offer, as well as revenue and cost drivers.
• Ability to manage small cross functional teams and engage stakeholders at various levels.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with third party solution providers and collaborate effectively as part of platform development and management. 
• Commercially minded, pragmatic and outcome focused.
