We're seeking a Project Controls Manager to join Movar's growing consultancy team, delivering integrated cost, schedule, and performance controls on major infrastructure, utilities, and rail programmes across the UK and Dublin.

In this role, you'll take the lead in developing and embedding robust project control systems covering cost management, scheduling, risk management and performance reporting on programmes exceeding £10m in value. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, project teams, and external partners to provide data-driven insights, ensure governance compliance, and optimise delivery outcomes.
Expect a varied remit, from setting project control baselines and conducting earned value analysis, to running schedule risk assessments and producing clear, actionable performance dashboards. You'll also play a key role in standardising best practices across multiple projects, ensuring consistency, transparency, and accuracy in all reporting.

Key Requirements: You should be a confident and experienced Project Controls Manager / Project Controls Specialist / Planning & Controls Manager or similar with a CV that demonstrates:
- 5+ years experience in project controls within infrastructure, utilities, or rail
- Proven track record on projects exceeding £10m in value
- Expertise in integrated project control systems and earned value management (EVM)
- Advanced skills in cost management, scheduling, and risk integration
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Power BI, and cost management systems
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear insights
- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders
A relevant degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance or related discipline and professional qualifications (AACEI, APM, PMI) is advantageous but not essential.
You'll ideally be based in the UK or Dublin with flexibility to travel. Permanent and contract opportunities are available, with competitive packages:
