The Role
Are you passionate about creating positive workplace experiences and supporting people-centered initiatives? If so, you may be the perfect fit for our People Operations Team as a People Operations Intern.

The People Operations intern is responsible for supporting daily HR operations and the smooth functioning of administrative people-related processes. The intern will support various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and record management. The intern is also expected to gain hands-on experience in People Operations and contribute to the continuous development of a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

This role is based in Liberia and open to national and international candidates located in Liberia.

What you’ll do

Provide administrative support to the people operations team, including data entry, organized filing systems, and accurate maintenance of employee records
Support in ensuring logistics for new staff relocating to the field office are arranged, and relocation benefits are provided when needed.
Assist in the planning and execution of employee engagement activities to foster a positive workplace culture
Collaborate with the IT Manager to facilitate the processing of LMH staff working ID cards.
Support the recruitment process, ensuring document verifications and requirements are met and filed.
Support People Operations in coordinating staff activities, including meetings and events.
Support the team to ensure new staff have office space and furniture. Liaise with IT to ensure staff have computers and other equipment.
Support People Operations compliance and audit efforts.
Work with the POPs Manager to process employees’ medical insurance reimbursement, insurance ID cards to the Insurance Company, and ensure that payments are made to those affected.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date online and hardcopy employee files.
Any other responsibilities as may be assigned in line with the internship.

What you'll bring

Recent graduate or final-year student in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proficient in the use of various MS Office programs, Google Workspace.
Interest and ability to manage important and complex records and maintain confidentiality.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
