The Windows Commercial Marketing team is responsible for delivering innovative marketing and go to market strategies and execution plans across the full product portfolio that enable our customers to be productive and do their best work on Windows.  This includes Windows Pro, Copilot+ PCs, Windows Enterprise, Intune, Windows 365 and more. Our mission it to deliver AI-powered productivity across Windows client and cloud – seamlessly, fast, and securely – for every job in every organization.

 

We are looking for an Intergrated Marketing Director - Windows Commercial who can lead and execute a variety of global integrated marketing functions to drive business growth for the Windows Commercial portfolio.  This role includes a wide variety of outbound functions.  You will be responsible for overseeing events, social, web, campaigns, go-to-market strategies and sales assets, plus brand, storytelling and messaging - working across teams and a variety of channels to reach end-users, business decision makers, IT decision makers and developers to bring them into the future of end-user computing. You will lead a team of talented and passionate marketers and collaborate with other stakeholders, functions, and teams within and outside the company. You will partner closely with product marketing, engineering, sales, field teams, and partners to create compelling narratives, integrated campaigns, and impactful content that resonate with enterprise, Small, Medium Business (SMB), and public sector audiences. This is a high-visibility leadership role that requires a blend of creative vision, analytical rigor, and steady execution.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, coach, and develop team members and help them grow in their careers. Set team goals and success measurements, measure results, and drive for continuous improvement.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive team culture.
  • Own and drive the integrated marketing communications strategy for the Windows Commercial portfolio, ensuring alignment to business priorities and revenue goals.
  • Lead and shift the industry narrative around end-user computing solutions and the power of AI and the cloud to enhance productivity and define the future of work.
  • Lead planning and execution of integrated marketing initiatives that drive awareness, consideration, conversion, usage and brand love across paid, owned, and earned channels, ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment.
  • Oversee creative development and content strategy, including launches, hero campaigns, thought leadership, Public Relations (PR), web, social, and customer success stories.
  • Integrate partner co-marketing and ecosystem amplification to extend reach and influence.
  • Manage agencies and vendors to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget.
  • Use data and analytics to measure marketing and campaign performance, optimize in real time, and inform future planning.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 4+ years experience in product marketing, integrated marketing or brand strategy OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in product marketing, integrated marketing or brand strategy OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years people management experience or indirect people management experience (or virtual teams)
  • 4+ years experience marketing enterprise software, cloud services, or hardware solutions for a technology company of 4,000+ employees 
  • Experience building and executing large-scale integrated marketing campaigns that drive business results.

 

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in product marketing, integrated marketing or brand strategy OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 12+ years experience in product marketing, integrated marketing or brand strategy OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years people management experience.
  • Experience working successfully cross functionally.
  • Experience with business to business (B2B) buyer journeys and commercial customer needs.
  • Experience translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Experience in campaign performance measurement and optimization.

 

Product Marketing M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
