We are looking for an energetic, passionate, analytical person to take on the role of Senior Program Manager of Workplace Planning and Transactions for GWS Americas. 

 

You will work on innovative and impactful business projects, working with our internal business partners, industry experts and strategic vendors to further foster innovation while delivering renowned solutions across our campus.    

 

This position will support the Americas Regional team by making the business more efficient and drive the overall portfolio planning and real estate transactions in the Americas Field: site acquisitions, lease negotiations/renewals, and land use planning. Ensure consistency in deal-making and optimize the portfolio to meet business needs, working on master planning and managing any specialized real estate in coordination with facility teams.  

 

Please note, This is  a work -hybrid position . Join us onsite three times weekly  at  our beautiful Atlanta location to spark ideas, share laughs, and build something amazing together.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to communicate information and concepts clearly and logically, setting time specific and achievable expectations at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated understanding of principles and practices of project management.
  • Proactive in identifying improvement opportunities and helping the team understand the best way to achieve goals.
  • Understanding of the whole property life cycle.
  • Effectively problem solve and resolve a variety of issues and topics within the job scope.
  • Corporate level interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamically paced environment.
  • Deliver a range of analysis activities - data extraction, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Technical / systems knowledge, experience and capabilities required with direct exposure to Real Estate and Facilities Data systems, database management and reporting tools.
  • Storytelling skills to craft compelling narratives around lease transactions, highlighting strategic value and benefits.
  • Experience in lease transaction studies and financial modeling, with the ability to compare options of different locations and terms.
  • Experience managing & scaling programs and measuring performance.

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Real Estate, Project Management, or related field AND 5+ years relevant experience OR 7+ years equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years experience leading / participating on a corporate real estate team and functioning as a Program Manager .

Additional/Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in corporate facilities management or related disciplines.
  • Corporate level communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • 3-5+ Years ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without authority. 
  • Demonstrated strategic thinker with  analytical and problem-solving capabilities 
  • Experience in project management, vendor relations, and financial oversight.
  • Familiarity with sustainability, energy management, and workplace safety programs.
  • Background in facilities engineering, contract administration, procurement, and risk management.
  • A proven ability to influence and collaborate across groups and build virtual teams.  
  • Project management, organizational and entrepreneurial skills.  
  • Experience in program management and corporate real estate transaction management. 
  • Logical and able to learn new areas quickly including new and emerging technologies.
  • Experience building and growing partnerships.
  • Ability to assemble, influence and collaborate across groups and partner effectively with virtual teams 

 

Real Estate Portfolio Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
