JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for completing all administrative tasks assigned by the Risk and Safety Manager. This position is also responsible for completing all filing, data entry, and data findings that are required for the Risk and Safety programs.
ESSENTIAL DUITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include, but is not limited to the following.)
- General Support of the activities of Risk and Safety Manager
- Data Entry of all claims and updates into Risk Management Software
- Collect reports/documents from other departments to assist with Claim responses
- Assist with coordinating all data, files, and department information
- Collect and distribute daily data from Security department to Risk/Safety/GR Offices
- Assist with claims investigation and collecting investigative data
- Assist with response to guest issues
- Facilitate Workers Compensation Return To Work Program
- Complete claim submissions for Workers Compensation
- Support the company’s Risk and Safety initiatives and programs
- Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and vision

- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Collect and distribute daily data from Other department to Risk department as needed
- Assist with collection of survey data and basic response to guest issues
- Respond to guest/team members concerns and inquiries in a timely manner
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Excellent organizational skills required
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Read, write, and communicate verbally in English
- Skill in preparing and maintaining records, letter writing, and data entry with computer keyboard
- Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Good working knowledge of computer software to include MS Word, Excel
- General Office Experience Preferred
- Experience managing insurance claims a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position).
- Work may be performed in an area, which may be unusually noisy and crowded
- Mobility to include bending, reaching, prolonged standing and walking, accessing and lifting items from floor level to six feet high
- Normal sense of smell, touch, sound and vision range
- Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity
- Work area is subject to variable temperatures
- May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to provide internal/external guests with service excellence, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests. Above average speech – both speaking and reading/writing English. Need excellent interpersonal skills. Work requires schedule flexibility which may include days off, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
