We are seeking a highly motivated and creative postdoctoral fellow to join our research team in studying viral pathogenesis across multiple animal model systems. The successful candidate will design, conduct, and analyze experiments investigating host–virus interactions, disease progression, and immune responses, using a range of in vivo and ex vivo approaches. The work will involve developing and optimizing experimental models, performing molecular and cellular assays to assess viral replication and tissue pathology, and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of veterinarians, immunologists, and molecular biologists. The position requires a Ph.D. in virology, microbiology, immunology, or a related field, with a strong background in viral pathogenesis research and experience with animal models of infectious disease; prior work with ABSL-2 or ABSL-3 pathogens is highly desirable. Excellent molecular biology skills, proficiency in cell culture and immunological techniques, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities are essential.
