Manager (Alumni/Student Services), Masters Programmes (at the rank of Executive Officer) (two posts) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 532963) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree, with at least 3 years of full-time work experience, preferably in tertiary institution, education sector or social service organization. Applicants should be a self-starter with a positive attitude; have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese with fluency in Putonghua considered an advantage; and be able to multi-task, attentive to detail and work well both independently as well as in a team. Passion for working with youth and young adults would be an advantage.
The appointees will provide support to the Faculty’s Masters Programmes Alumni and Student Services Team.
Post 1: Student Services
The appointee will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive student life program, including but not limited to counseling and wellness services, as well as the Caring and Love Ambassador programs, aimed at raising awareness of mental wellness on campus.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
• designing and managing a variety of organizing student wellness activities;
• providing support to counsellors;
• engaging with stakeholders for volunteer work and other wellness initiatives;
• designing and developing the team’s publications and newsletters; and
• performing other duties as assigned.
Post 2: Alumni Services
The appointee will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies and plans to deliver a diverse range of alumni activities. The appointee will play a crucial role in fostering engagement and connection within the alumni network.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
• organizing events such as graduation celebrations and the young alumni scheme;
• managing alumni souvenir initiatives and campaigns;
• overseeing the alumni community across various channels, including database management and WeChat mini-programs; and
• performing other duties as assigned.
The appointees will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus, and may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends, and travel to overseas or Mainland China occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
