Due to internal movements, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Human Resources Business Partner to join our established People & Leadership Team initially for a 2 year fixed term contract.

About the Role:

·        This is a national role, providing high touch support and guidance to frontline leaders across the full employee lifecycle.

·        Supporting performance management, termination and risk mitigation, and supporting recruitment & career succession

·        Conducting grievance investigations, overseeing and supporting the dispute resolution processes

·        Supporting key people initiatives such as leadership development; engagement; recruitment and retention; and workforce design and succession planning

·        Providing advice and support regarding enterprise agreements, relevant modern awards, and legislative requirements as well as Union relationship management

·        Looking after a national remit, so inter/intrastate travel will be a necessity for the success of this role

 

About you:

·       Minimum of 4-5 years experience in Human Resources or ER/IR position and possesses a true understanding of what business partnering is all about.

·       Energy and agility to prioritise daily, including last minute changes and long-term stakeholder requirements, whilst maintaining and managing stakeholder expectations.

·       Active listener, approachable and easy to talk with, yet can focus on the task at hand and be proactive to achieve set outcomes.

·       Resilience and driven to work in an evolving multifaceted work environment.

·       Strong ER risk assessment and mitigation with the ability to communicate sound solutions whilst providing guidance and scenario planning for leaders.

·       IR exposure an advantage, experience working with unions and EA negotiations preferred.
