JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Premium Services Growth is responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive adoption, revenue, and patient satisfaction for premium ophthalmology services, including Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE), premium intraocular lenses (IOLs), femtosecond laser technology, ORA, and other self-pay offerings across 20 medical practices. This role will lead cross functional initiatives involving operations, marketing, clinical education, and patient financial counseling to create a scalable and sustainable growth engine for premium services. The ideal candidate is a strategic, data-driven leader who understands the ophthalmology market and excels in aligning business development, clinical performance, and patient experience to achieve measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of premium services growth strategies across all practices.
- Analyze practice performance data to identify gaps and opportunities for premium conversion improvements.
- Create and deploy a premium services playbook covering patient education, financial counseling, scheduling workflows, and staff training.
- Partner with leadership to align premium service goals and ensure adoption of best practices.
- Collaborate with marketing on targeted campaigns, digital advertising, and referral strategies to increase premium service leads.
- Collaborate with practice operational leadership to align strategies, identify potential barriers, establish implementation plans and timeline.
- Conduct on-site assessments and provide hands-on support to improve premium service performance at underperforming practices.
- Design and lead programs for financial counselors, technicians, and physicians to optimize conversions.
- Monitor competitive landscape and recommend new premium services or pricing models.
- Regular reports on key premium metrics including revenue growth, conversion rates, and patient satisfaction.
- Drive accountability with clear performance metrics and action plans for each practice.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (MBA or MHA preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare business development, ophthalmology operations, or premium elective services growth.
- Strong knowledge of premium ophthalmology services (RLE, premium IOLs, femto, ORA).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver measurable financial results.
- Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and reporting skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and change management skills.
- Willingness to travel 25–40% to support practice locations.
