The Risk & Compliance Analyst

Description

The Risk & Compliance Analyst supports the organization by tracking claims, monitoring risks, responding to compliance data requests, and contributing to the improvement of internal and external compliance processes. This role collaborates closely with internal teams, clients, and third parties to gather information, address inquiries, and convey findings in a clear and actionable manner. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and skilled at building strong working relationships across departments and with external partners.

Requirements

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (LIST IS NOT INCLUSIVE)

Risk & Claims Tracking:

• Monitor and update the status of insurance and incident claims.

• Maintain accurate claims records and follow up with stakeholders for updates.

• Identify potential risks in claims trends and escalate concerns to management.

Business Compliance Support:

• Gather and document information from various internal and external sources to present process risks and deficiencies.

• Assist in reviewing current business processes and suggesting improvements.

• Support data collection for performance metrics and key indicators.

Reporting, Communication & Compliance Support:

• Prepare and share reports and dashboards to communicate claim progress, risk updates, and process improvements.

• Summarize complex information into clear, concise updates for leadership, clients, and stakeholders.

• Monitor, track, and respond to client and third-party requests for compliance data, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and timely delivery.

• Facilitate communication between departments to ensure all shared information is consistent and up to date.

Collaboration & Coordination:

• Act as a liaison between risk management, operations, finance, and other teams to collect risk data.

• Participate in meetings to capture action items and follow up with responsible parties.

• Support audits, compliance reviews, and project teams with requested information.

• Assist with developing and driving campaigns and initiatives to support risk management, compliance, and business process improvements.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Basic proficiency with Excel, Word, and other office tools; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bilingual (Spanish/English or other language) for enhanced communication with diverse stakeholders.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• 0–2 years of experience in business analysis, risk management, claims administration, or related area.
