Development and implementation of functional safety concepts and architectures for wheel loader systems in accordance with ISO 26262, ISO 13849 or IEC 61508.
Analysis of safety requirements and their implementation throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
Conducting hazard and risk analyses (HARA), FMEA, and FTA.
Definition of safety goals, technical safety requirements, and safety functions in collaboration with system, software, and hardware teams.
Preparation of safety documentation and support during certification and homologation processes.
Close cooperation with international development teams (especially China) and external service providers.
Internal training and support of colleagues on safety-related topics.
Participation in prototype testing and validation with focus on functional safety aspects.
Completed technical studies (e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics)
Several years of experience in functional safety in the field of mobile machines or automotive
Sound knowledge of relevant standards (ISO 26262, ISO 13849, IEC 61508)
Experience with safety analyses (e.g. FMEA, FTA, HARA)
Business fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is an advantage
Independent and structured way of working, high sense of responsibility
Willingness to travel internationally
Experience in safety assessments and audits
Fluent in German and English
