Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $165,000.00 wage range. You will receive competitive total rewards packaged that is applicable to the U.S. only. The salary range may vary based on experience, skillset, and geographical location.

 

AttainX, Inc. is in search of a Business Process Specialist – National Production Dataset (NPD) to provide expert leadership and guidance to our federal government client. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the overall efforts to expand the development, implementation, and maintenance of data standards across the client agency’s current and future systems. This will be accomplished by identifying key strategies, developing, and presenting recommendation packages including impact assessments, consulting with external offices as needed, implementing the approved data standards, and developing monitoring and reporting capabilities.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience working as an Enterprise Architect on US Federal Government projects.
  • 5+ years of experience with DHS or USCIS databases, data governance.
  • Proven experience in business process analysis, optimization, and documentation within complex, data-driven federal environments.
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks and federal data privacy/security regulations.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work productively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain USCIS Public Trust clearance.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern data ecosystems.
  • frameworks and federal data privacy/security regulations.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and federal IT program delivery practices.
  • Proven track record in leading business process improvement projects with measurable results.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and visualization platforms such as Tableau.
  • Understanding of AI, automation, and process orchestration technologies for federal environments.
  • Prior USCIS or other federal agency experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, document, and optimize business processes that feed into or leverage the NPD environment.
  • Collaborate with IT, data engineering, analytics, program offices, and leadership to align process workflows with NPD capabilities and business goals.
  • Integrate data governance policies, compliance requirements, and auditing standards into day-to-day NPD processes.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communications, ensuring all process changes are well-documented, trained, and adopted.
  • Support Agile project activities including user story creation, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Monitor and assess process performance metrics; identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in support of the Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO).
  • Partner with Databricks and Tableau teams to ensure process feasibility, data accuracy, and efficient report/data delivery schedules.
  • Drive business adoption of cloud-native tools and automation that reduce manual inefficiencies in the NPD workflow.
  • Ensure process documentation, SOPs, and workflows meet FISMA, Privacy Act, and PII control requirements.
  • Mentor staff to improve data literacy and NPD-related process knowledge.

In this position, you will directly contribute to enhancing the USCIS NPD—making it a more effective enterprise asset that drives faster decision-making, improved policy insights, and operational efficiency across USCIS offices. You will bridge visionary modernization strategies with practical process improvements that integrate people, processes, and technology into a unified delivery model.
