Job Description
Responsible for performing the functions necessary for the efficient operation of the Experience & Innovation Center in order to co-create and co-succeed with application developments for packaging solutions within the food industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the set-up and demonstration of the Experience & Innovation Center/packaging equipment, along with the production of sample packages for customer and market evaluation.
- Responsible for scheduling test requests and provides status updates related to test progression and completion; Performing application tests (independently) and supervising experience innovation center; Drawing up an application test protocol and specification.
- Document all test data and information relative to tests and file in a thorough, analytical manner for future use by our engineering, manufacturing, sales and service departments.
- Actively works with sales and sales support to secure customer orders.
- Supporting and training Sales Engineers and/or (field) Technicians with regard to applications and the relevant assemblies.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- Must possess a minimum of a 2+ year technical degree in an electrical/mechanical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Must have at least 5+ years of experience with Industrial Equipment and/or Packaging Machinery.
- Extensive experience with Vertical Form Fill Seal Packaging equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid mechanical and electrical knowledge and experience.
- Experience in the set-up, running and troubleshooting of packaging equipment.
- Working knowledge of packaging materials utilized on packaging machinery.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Additional Information
The expected compensation range for this position is between $37-$46 per hour.
Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
