Position Summary:
As Director, Delivery Quality, you are responsible for delivering high-quality solutions to our customers. This is a critical leadership role responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive quality strategy that ensures our software meets the highest standards expected by our customers.
You will be responsible for building, mentoring, and managing a high-performing QA team. In consultation with engineering managers and test leads, you manage staffing to ensure appropriate coverage on highest priorities. You will take a data-driven approach to leading continuous improvement of testing processes and tools through our full engineering lifecycle.
What you'll be doing:
- Develop, own, and execute the end-to-end quality assurance strategy at League and oversee all aspects of testing for solution delivery to customers
- Work directly with key customers on test strategy, test planning, and quality improvement efforts
- Coach and manage a team of QA analysis and test engineers to achieve consistently high performance on solution delivery
- Manage staffing including staff augmentation vendors to balance cost and quality outcomes
- Partner with engineering peers to communicate and escalate progress on test coverage and defect resolution to ensure project success
- Own and develop end-to-end testing systems and processes, leveraging AI, to increase both solution quality and delivery efficiency
- Define and track key quality metrics, and facilitate project retrospectives and root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement throughout the engineering lifecycle
- Lead or influence internal initiatives to improve planning, engineering and testing practices throughout the engineering lifecycle
- Leverage AI to streamline testing activities to increase team productivity
What you bring:
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering and testing experience
- 5+ years of direct people management experience in a hybrid environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Expert-level knowledge of test methodologies and automation systems
- Deep technical acumen to work with engineering peers on improvement
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Drive for continuous improvement in process and tools, leveraging AI
- Strategic mindset, with ability to see the big picture while managing the details
Security-related Responsibilities:
- Compliance with Information Security Policies
- Responsibility and accountability for executing League's policies and procedures
- Notification of HR, Legal, Compliance & Security of any incidents, breaches or policy violations

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for base salaries for the position across all Canadian locations. The salary range is intentional to account for the performance and career progressions a Leaguer will experience in the role throughout their time at League. Where in the band you may land is determined by job-related skills/experience.
