Job Description

Play a central role in shaping and maintaining the financial foundation of a global organization. As a Senior Finance Governance Expert, you will be responsible for defining and safeguarding global finance standards, supporting compliance, and driving efficiency across all legal entities. Your contribution will directly impact financial transparency, operational excellence, and the long-term financial stability of the company.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Defining, managing, and ensuring compliance with global Finance Guidelines, processes, and work instructions
  • Designing and maintaining the global chart of accounts in alignment with group reporting and statutory needs
  • Conducting financial reviews at legal entity level and ensuring financial accuracy and consistency
  • Driving the planning and approval process for statutory financial statements and legal entity budgets
  • Improving and safeguarding the quality, efficiency, and standardization of global finance operations
  • Acting as central contact and providing expert training and guidance on finance-related topics worldwide
  • Supporting internal and external audits with accurate and standardized financial data

Qualifications

What do we expect from you?

  • Education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in financial governance, accounting, or financial controlling within an international environment
  • Solid understanding of statutory and group accounting principles (IFRS/local GAAPs)
  • Experience with financial reporting structures and the design of financial processes and policies
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying risks and optimization opportunities
  • Fluency in English (minimum B2 level); additional languages are an advantage
  • Proficiency in ERP and reporting systems (e.g. SAP, consolidation tools)

Basic gross guaranteed salary: from 2000 EUR/Brutto +13th salary The final basic wage component will be adjusted to individual skills and experience of selected candidate.
