Gray AES is seeking to add a Sr. Human Resources Business Partner to its team, with the position based in one of our offices located in Atlanta, GA, or Lexington, KY.

Who we want… (Requirements)
- The new team member is required to have a bachelor’s degree and ten (10) years of experience in human resources; or the equivalent combination of both.
- Experience in a broad range of human resources topics is required; employee relations, organizational planning, succession planning, team member development, onboarding
- Experience in compensation planning and international human resources are preferred
- Professional certification in HR is preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP).
- Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheets, software, and e-mail.
- The selected candidate will have excellent communication skills.

Qualifications
What we expect… (Essential Functions)
- Ensures all HR and related programs incorporate Gray’s Core Values.
- Be a valued and collaborative member of the shared services human resources team, contributing ideas, feedback, and improvements.
- Serves as the dedicated HR partner for Gray AES.
- Partners with the executive leadership team and people managers understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future needs including recruiting, retention, performance management, and succession planning.
- Maintain compensation and bonus programs.
- Provides support, guidance, and coaching to people managers and staff when complex and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances.
- Responsible for employee relations issues and must be able to conduct investigations when necessary.
- Partners with the HR Compliance Manager to stay up to date on best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources
- Supports career pathing, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
- Supports the implementation of learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for team members.
- Annually evaluates company job descriptions and updates as necessary.
- Responsible for orientation of new members in conjunction with Gray Inc.’s program. Manages onboarding and offboarding processes, including exit interviews.
- Collaborates with the recruiting team to ensure the company is hiring the best and brightest. Ensures affirmative action plan is executed and applicant tracking and flow logs are maintained.
- Develops, recommends, and implements human resources policies and procedures and maintains the team member handbook.
- Manages and monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary to meet company needs.
- Assists team members with wellness and/or benefit questions.
- Maintains strict confidentiality of team members’ personal information.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
