Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced PMO lead to join our Transformation team proactively working as part of the Programme Management Office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support multiple projects and project resources simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Programme Manager in facilitating programme governance, building packs and proactively manage accurate actions/decisions through to closure.
- Ensure adherence to the project management methodologies, framework, and best practices for programme management.
- Ensure project management standards and processes across the organisation are being met.
- Ensure that project deliverables/artefacts have been reviewed and signed off by Key Stakeholders in accordance with the programme governance.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to workstream leads.
- Identify and support in mitigating project risks and issues.
- Ensure that all risks, issues, actions, and dependencies of the overall Programme are being actively managed.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and project schedules.
- Facilitate change control against the scope, plan, and cost of the programme to ensure demonstrated audit and control, plus continued alignment to the agreed strategy and programme vision.
- Provide guidance and support to project managers and team members.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Programme support admin such as raising PO’s, visitor passes, duty travel, meeting room (for key programme events), on/ off boarding of project resources.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Project Management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in project management related to product development and business transformation.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques for product development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects related to product development simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in managing product development budgets and resources.
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- PMP certification is a plus.
