Trissential is hiring a PMO Leader to join our client’s team and spearhead the design, development, and implementation of a Program Management Office. Your Role & Responsibilities

• Engage with senior leadership to define the purpose, scope, and strategic objectives of the PMO

• Facilitate cross-functional discussions to ensure organizational alignment and buy-in• Develop and present a high-level PMO Charter outlining mission, vision, KPIs, and resource needs• Define PMO structure (supportive, controlling, or directive) and operating model (project, program, or portfolio focus)• Lead the sequencing and prioritization of PMO capability buildout in collaboration with department leads• Establish governance frameworks, reporting standards, and performance metrics• Oversee the rollout of PMO tools, templates, and processes• Leverage existing organizational assets and best practices to accelerate implementation• Manage resource planning, budget forecasting, and risk mitigation across PMO initiatives• Serve as a trusted advisor and mentor to project managers and stakeholders• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, agility, and strategic execution• Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to executive leadershi

 

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

• 10+ years of experience in project/program management• 5+ years in PMO leadership roles• Proven success building or transforming PMOs in consulting or professional services environments• Expertise in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies• Strong strategic planning and organizational change management skills• Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities• Proficiency in PMO tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Primavera, Clarity, Planview, or ServiceNow SPM• Financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis

 

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Executive presence and ability to influence at all levels• Hands-on approach with a balance of strategic vision and operational execution• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in complex environments

 

Education & Certifications You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)• PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification strongly preferred
