What are we looking for?

We are looking for a relationship-driven professional who can serve as the primary liaison for one of our key EAP partners, building trust through consistent communication and a strong focus on partner satisfaction. In this role, you’ll coordinate across internal teams at BetterHelp and Teladoc to ensure seamless alignment across operations, clinical, technical, and account management functions. You’ll oversee service delivery and proactively address challenges, working to resolve issues quickly while continuously improving the member experience. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills to monitor performance against KPIs and SLAs, as well as the ability to prepare and present business reviews and insights to both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll play a critical role in driving the long-term success of the partnership by identifying opportunities for growth and innovation, ensuring contractual alignment, and cultivating relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

What will you do?

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, deeply understanding their business needs and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the Implementation team to ensure smooth rollouts of BetterHelp services, including project planning and operational execution.
  • Deliver partner-facing demos, onboarding sessions, and training presentations (virtual and occasional in-person).
  • Lead MBR and QBR meetings with health plans, strengthening relationships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Maintain a consistent communication cadence with partners, sharing BetterHelp updates, utilization trends, and outcome metrics to drive engagement.
  • Partner with Engagement Managers to execute ongoing strategies, including well-being events, communications, and campaigns.
  • Identify and foster opportunities for partners to serve as BetterHelp advocates (e.g., PR, testimonials, case studies).
  • Prepare and present regular client-facing and internal reports on account performance, utilization, and projections.
  • Proactively troubleshoot and resolve partner issues, ensuring timely solutions and high satisfaction.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the partner experience.
  • Manage contract renewals, driving profitable growth and demonstrating return on investment.
  • Act as the voice of the partner internally, providing insights to shape BetterHelp’s growth strategy and product roadmap.

Can I work remotely?

Yes. We operate on PST and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply. We ask employees to travel to our San Jose, CA office up to three times per year plus one company-wide offsite to collaborate in person and strengthen working relationships. Travel expenses are covered and reasonable accommodations are made for those under unique circumstances who cannot travel.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in partner management, client success, account management, or strategic operations, ideally within healthcare, EAP, behavioral health, or digital health.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder relationships with high-touch clients or partners.
  • Strong operational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to internal leadership and external partner teams.
  • Experience supporting or managing enterprise-level partnerships and delivering on SLAs.
  • Familiarity with mental health care delivery, EAP frameworks, or healthcare compliance (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and the extensive benefits listed here (subject to eligibility requirements): Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. Total compensation is based on several factors – including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
