Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Service Parts Operations (SPO) is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Operations Leader.
The primary responsibility of the Operations Leader is to lead and support warehouse operations activities related to the receipt, storage and distribution of service parts and accessories.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the person in the Operations Leader role will support the Service Parts Operations department's objective by meeting PDC business objectives.
What you’ll be doing
- Coordinate and lead day-to-day operational activities providing leadership in the areas of team member relations, safety, quality, and efficiency
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement through consistent application of TPS, TQM, Kaizen, and the Toyota Way
- Demonstrate leadership skills that include direct coaching/development of production team members and team leaders in support of facility operational objectives
- Create and deploy short and medium range plans and develop strategies to increase total operational efficiency
- Provide a safe, secure, and engaging work environment that fosters team member involvement, creativity, and development in a team atmosphere
- Responsible for the consistent application of company policies and guidelines
- LAPDC current shift schedule – 1st shift: 5:15am-1:45pm / 2nd shift: 4:15pm-12:45am. OL positions will rotate between 1st and 2nd shift.
What You Bring
- Leadership experience in an operational environment or near/end completion of Logistics Trainee Program.
- Ability to facilitate change and develop team members.
- Ability to work weekends as needed.
- 3-5 years of related operations experience in a high performing distribution environment.
- Application and development of: TBP, FMDS, SPSR
What you may bring
- Familiar with Toyota Way principles
- Kaizen project experience
- Storage experience

The annual base salary range for this position is $82,700.00 - $134,400.00.Belonging at Toyota
