Job Description
Role Overview:
The Credit Supervisor is a people-focused leader responsible for the development, coaching, and performance growth of the Vetting team. Working closely with Managers and Supervisors, this role plays a key part in shaping team culture, improving capability, and ensuring credit operations remain aligned to stakeholder expectations across countries and business units.
With a clear focus on one-to-one support, training, and feedback, the Credit Supervisor helps drive a high-performing, engaged, and adaptable team — while also playing a key role in delivering team-wide initiatives and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Team Development & Coaching
Conduct regular 1:1s with team members to support their personal development, wellbeing, and performance.
Deliver ongoing feedback, coaching, and on-the-job training tailored to individual needs and growth plans.
Identify training needs and work with leadership to implement effective development strategies.
Support new starters through onboarding and role integration.
Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with the Credit Managers and Supervisors to align people development with business priorities.
Support the delivery of team-wide communications, updates, and initiatives.
Lead or contribute to department-level projects and continuous improvement efforts.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across Sales, Risk, Operations, and other business functions.
Proactively identify and escalate challenges or gaps impacting team performance or stakeholder expectations.
Performance Enablement
Help team members achieve individual KPIs through tailored support and targeted coaching.
Encourage a culture of accountability, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
Support succession planning and career progression by identifying and nurturing future talent.
