Job Description
Step into a role where your work keeps the team moving forward. You’ll handle key tasks like picking, packing, and receiving, making sure orders are accurate and on time. By working closely with your teammates, you’ll help the team hit its goals while building the skills and knowledge to grow in your career.
The Operations Associate plays a key role in executing day-to-day warehouse activities. This includes picking, packing, receiving, and processing orders while maintaining accuracy, quality, and adherence to safety standards. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick products from storage locations using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring accuracy in part numbers, quantities, and condition before moving items to the next process.
- Pack products securely using appropriate materials, verify order accuracy against packing lists, label shipments correctly, and ensure presentation meets quality standards.
- Receive incoming shipments by verifying documentation, performing quality checks, and accurately recording items into the WMS.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas following 5S principles.
- Perform quality inspections on products to ensure they meet company standards before shipping.
- Prepare and label packages for shipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven leadership qualities and ability to act as a role model for the team
- Detail-oriented and highly organized in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to act quickly under pressure
- Comfortable working in a warehouse/fulfillment environment
- Previous experience in logistics, fulfillment, or warehouse operations is an asset
