About This Role
As Crusoe’s Building Electrical Lead, you will be a pivotal leader for a team of electricians, acting as the primary point of contact between staff and upper management. You will be responsible for a wide range of critical tasks, from analyzing blueprints and distributing daily tasks to developing solutions and ensuring the team meets its goals and deadlines. This hands-on role requires a licensed electrician with strong technical skills, a passion for team development, and an unwavering commitment to safety. You will directly contribute to the successful installation of electrical systems in our manufactured buildings, upholding our mission and values at every turn. This is a full-time position.
What You'll Be Working On
Team Leadership and Mentorship: Lead a team of electricians, serving as the primary point of contact between your team and upper management. You will distribute daily tasks, evaluate team performance, and complete team member reviews.
Project Planning & Problem-Solving: Analyze blueprints and work with upper management to develop comprehensive task plans for your team. You will collaborate with team members to solve problems and develop innovative solutions.
Technical Execution & Installation: Perform hands-on electrical installation of equipment in manufactured buildings according to plans and specifications. You will use a variety of tools and techniques to repair and maintain electrical systems, leveraging your expertise to determine the best way to install new systems.
Compliance & Safety Oversight: Ensure that you and your team follow all safety requirements and OSHA guidelines. You will continuously look to standardize practices and methods to be the most efficient and effective, embodying Crusoe’s values and safety standards.
Documentation & Inventory Management: Document all operational tasks and reports, and take responsibility for tracking inventory and ordering parts and materials as needed. You will also develop procedures for key work tasks.
What You'll Bring to the Team
Licensure & Expertise: A valid and current Journeyman or Master Electrician license, specifically in the state of Colorado. You will have a solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E.
Technical Proficiency: The ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, and electrical schematics. You will also be proficient in using a wide variety of electrician tools and techniques.
Leadership Skills: A motivated self-starter and team player with a proven ability to lead a team, work collaboratively, and motivate and encourage team members.
Communication & Analytical Skills: You will possess strong analytical skills, a high attention to detail, and a willingness to accept and learn from feedback.
Physical Capabilities: The ability to lift, lower, push, and pull merchandise up to 50 lbs. You must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8 hours or more daily, and require constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
Compliance: Willingness to undergo a background and drug test.
Bonus Points
Experience with developing procedures for electrical work tasks.
Proven experience in inventory management and parts ordering.
Experience with industrial controls or low-voltage systems.

Compensation
Compensation will be paid in the range of $46 - $51/hr. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
