We are currently seeking a Sr. People Systems Analyst for UKG! The Senior People Systems Analyst manages, elevates, and optimizes the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to support HR functions and goals. This role will work closely with various stakeholders both in and outside HR, requiring high-level analytical, technical, and communication skills, plus an expertise in HR.

Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday, Local residents will be in the office 5 days a week.  Will need to visit the office once a month if not local

The salary range for this job is based on location and experience. The range for Orange County California is: $115-$130K and for other locations: $105K - $120K

What you'll be doing: 

Reporting to the HRIS Director, the Sr. HRIS Analyst leads, collaborates, and supports the management and maintenance of HRIS system and actualizing business needs.

  • The System: configuration, data integrity, troubleshooting, and user support. Lead or support upgrades and implementations work, including testing and documentation
  • Processes and Architecture: Collaborate with HR and other departments to assess and analyze current HRIS processes and systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and maintain as well as ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Reports, Dashboards, and Analytics: Create and maintain to provide accurate and timely HR data for management decision-making
  • Support and Training: for HR staff and end-users on HRIS functionality to maximize and ensure proper utilization of the system's capabilities
  • Feeds and Integrations: Serve as the HRIS lead in collaboration with IT and vendors to ensure seamless integration of HRIS and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Subject-matter Expertise: Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to HR technology and recommend enhancements or new tools that align with the organization's needs
  • Security: Supporting security, compliance, and data privacy across all activities

What you need for the job:

  • In-depth knowledge of UKG, HRIS software and HR technology trends with strong skills in at least 2 of the following UKG modules: BI, WFM, Core, or Payroll
  • Strong general knowledge of HR processes, systems, and practices as well as HR compliance requirements and data privacy regulations
  • Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive to results
  • Experience in process improvement and system implementation projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with complex data sets and the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insight
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting
  • High team-orientation with strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information with integrity
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field- or equivalent experience. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HRIS administration, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role
  • Certification in HRIS systems or project management is a plus
