📍 Location: Wayzata, MN (Relocation available)
💰 Compensation: $190K – $300K base + bonus + benefits
👥 Seniority: Director level | Leading a global team of 16 Data Scientists
✈️ Travel: Occasional

Chabeztech is hiring a full-time Sr. Director of AI & Data Science for an internal strategic project. This is a unique opportunity to lead global AI initiatives, drive adoption, and create measurable impact in one of our most ambitious innovation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with senior business leaders to identify high-impact AI opportunities and deliver measurable business value.
• Lead global AI & Data Science initiatives—strategy, adoption, and responsible AI practices.
• Translate technical AI/ML capabilities into compelling business narratives for non-technical stakeholders.
• Champion AI-driven decision-making, process modernization, and efficiency improvements.
• Mentor, manage, and scale a high-performing global team of 16 data scientists.
• Ensure AI/ML governance, risk management, and ethical use of AI.
• Build external partnerships to strengthen AI adoption.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or related field (Master’s/PhD preferred).

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Data Science/AI with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Hands-on expertise in ML (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement learning).
• Proven success driving AI adoption, analytics transformation, and strategy at scale.
• Strong executive communication and influencing skills.
• Preferred: Experience with CI/CD, distributed computing, AWS, software development, or agriculture industry.
