Position Description: Senior Digital Executive

  • Role Summary: Identified as our top performing executive cohort. The role is to supports the day-to-day implementation within team and plays a critical role in the activation and deployment of digital media. You have an understanding the full end-to-end media mix with a craft specialism towards digital, technology and platforms. You harness great project management and client servicing abilities across several clients or one major client. This role works closely with the Digital Managers and are critical in supporting the accurate & timely delivery of campaign bookings, campaign builds, optimisations, specs, deadlines and reporting and ensure workflows is seamless across the portfolio team.

  • Reports to: Digital Director with coaching support from the Digital Manager

  • Solid understanding of your client’s business needs and macro context they operate in and how this translates into media planning and activation across the intersection of brand and performance , powered by measurement data & tech.

  • Responsible for the Media Activation across all digital media from the signed off Channel Planning strategy. You embody what it is to be seen as capable performer in digital implementation & activation. You support the build of media partner briefing, analysing responses, providing feedback (where working with external partners), work collaboratively with the programmatic team to develop programmatic recommendations and take ownership of making biddable platform recommendations with your Digital Director. Once approved, you are strong in activating this via booking with the programmatic team / publishers & activating in platform, managing the specs and deadlines process as well as financial loadings.

  • You will have had some exposure and continue to find opportunities where possible in building an audience, have a point of view on these audience insights across the 4 Cs (Culture, Category, Consumer and competitive) to build a channel planning framework. You lean on your director and managers to support your growth here.

  • You have a continuously developing knowledge of the broader digital ecosystem (publishers, formats, buy types, tech, measurement, data) and have a capable in-platform understanding across all relevant biddable platforms (Meta, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads). You are considered the engine room of client delivery and project managers of WIPs, reporting and day-to-day operations with feedback from media, clients and peers on your delivery.

  • You will have good project management skills understanding the outlined RACI and team processes and project management tools and can comfortably move through the process from campaign sign-off through each step in process to go-live and beyond in reporting.

  • You will build a trusted and open management style with your team supporting your executives and associates you will take ownership of digital craft and supporting your junior team with skills development. You are effective in capturing this and feedback up towards your Digital Director to support team dynamics and workflow.

  • You are aware of the utilisation requirements of your role across your clients and actively work to consider these within your day-to-day and proactively manage your time accordingly. Any flags are escalated to your Digital Director to manage, and you are effectively capturing your time allocation via timesheets with limited to no follow ups for completion.

  • Where you do have exposure to client servicing you will work to understand the best working style and provide clear and succinct comms to clients demonstrating proactive view of managing timelines, projects, and day-to-day needs.

  • You ensure connected Media Partner relationships with Account Manager and Rep Levels with digital leading publishers and AdTech sales teams with a profile in market and verbatim feedback of your strength in your engagement with partners (preparation and visibility) of our remarkable media behaviours.

  • Support the effective commercial processes within your team of Invoicing and timely and accurate of delivering on Account Queries and Aged Debt asks that are required for your support.

  • Continue to always be learning, working on your tools matrix, attending all Nice2Media available and reading around key topics in the industry with a craft focus. Look to provide proactive feedback upwards to manage growth and opportunities for you to your Digital Director.
