Finance Expert - Management Accounting Bank (Group Finance)

Are you ready for a new challenge in Finance? The Management Accounting (MA) Bank team within Group Finance is seeking a Finance expert to join us in analysing ING Group’s consolidated results and reporting to both internal and external stakeholders.

Your new role and work environment

Management Accounting Bank is responsible for reporting ING’s financial performance to the Management Board Banking (MBB) and plays a vital role in ING’s external reporting. Our key responsibilities include:

• Preparing the monthly ING Group Flash Report for the MBB;
• Producing the ING Group Monthly Report for the MBB, Supervisory Board, and ECB;
• Organising quarterly Set-The-Tone meetings and consolidating the input;
• Producing and coordinating the quarterly financial press release (in collaboration with Investor Relations and Corporate Communications) and the Historical Trend Data document;
• Supporting the external disclosure of ING’s quarterly results (including the Financial Business Review booklet, Results Presentation, and ad-hoc Investor Relations requests);
• Contributing to ING’s Annual Report and Interim Accounts, including segment reporting;
• Providing evidence (“circle-up”) for externally disclosed numbers to auditors, ensuring data accuracy;
• Preparing and facilitating the allocation of regulatory costs for the Dynamic Plan and forecasts, and closely monitoring developments in this area;
• Maintaining organisation structures and MA reports in PeopleSoft/CIA

You’ll be joining a small and experienced team at our Head Office (Cedar), where you will gradually gain experience across these activities. Analysing the Bank’s overall results will offer you a strategic perspective on ING Group’s performance, as well as opportunities to collaborate across functions and get exposure to senior management.

Furthermore, you have:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in finance & control, business administration, or accountancy
• 3+ years’ experience in Finance, ideally within the banking sector
• Familiarity with our management information systems (MASS, MIS One Bank, EPM)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical skills
