The Opportunity:

Works independently under close supervision, sell a specific product, service line, or solution that within another sales representative's territory. Partner with inside/outside sales representatives to assist in closing complex and/or technical sales that require additional expertise.. May attend technical training classes.

Responsible in achieving sales targets in your assigned territory/Customers and creating and maintaining the strong business relationship with assigned customers/territory by delivering the right value from Avantor. And this position must execute the business strategies, negotiate effectively, and develop new business in existing and new technology products.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degrees in biotechnology, Biomedical / Chemical Process Engineering, or related Science Background. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Candidates with +5 years of sales experience in the life-science, biomedical or pharmaceutical research institutions, chemical industries and, preferably with key account and channel partner management experience.
  • Strong understanding of Biopharma industry.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Passion in liaising with internal and external customers
  • A team-player who can multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be highly personable; possess excellent communication skills.
  • Good detail-oriented personality, excellent personal organization and time management skills

  • Provide excellent and proactive customer service through product knowledge, handling inquires and eventual sales order.
  • Build a deep understanding of existing customers and channel partners, their market landscape, and business challenges.
  • Identify new opportunities and establish valuable partnerships to expand our business.
  • Develop strategic plans to achieve sales growth and gross margin and expand within assigned accounts.
  • Lead sales negotiations, close new deals, and ensure seamless integration of contracts into operations.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify areas and markets of differentiation and potential growth and conduct business plan presentation
  • Act as the primary account leader, ensuring a structured approach to meeting customer expectations and needs
  • Manage and forecast sales performance, ensuring timely follow-ups on business opportunities and leads in C4C
  • Assist in the organization of sales and marketing activities and events, contributing directly to the achievement of sales performance.
