Position Summary
The role would own the product execution and strategy for Cigna medical’s low acuity and wellness solutions across well-being, digestive health, cardiac strategies and solution suites. Products include: Personify Health’s Well-being solution, Your Health First Coaching, Oshi, HeartHealth Health, Nourish, Foodsmart, Motivate ME, Health Advisor, Healthy Rewards, Active & Fit, etc.
This role spans the product lifecycle from strategy, development, launch and ongoing maintenance of products. This role is heavily collaborative and must work cross functionally with key enterprise partners including: Clinical, Sales, GTM, Network, Contracting and Evernorth.
The role will have two direct reports, with a team of four in total. The individual in this role needs to be able to work quickly and independently, passionate about wellness, think outside of the box and innovatively about our wellness solutions and have a management and innovation approach grounded in the financials and results.
Primary Responsibilities
- Product Strategy/ Innovation – serve as the product leader defining product strategy in product capabilities and competition. Strategically lead enterprise thinking on medical clinical solutions across current and future offerings in close partnership with Evernorth. Provide the strategic guidance/ oversight to stand-up a massively complex net new set of solutions that leverage enterprise assets and value proposition.
- Product Launch – lead launch efforts by identifying market needs, developing business plans, providing SME support and overseeing go-to-market planning and training. Ability to energize and lead the organization through complex product launches / changes.
- Cross Functional Collaborative Leadership – Manage a core team of cross functional partners across pharmacy, medical, clinical, financial and provider departments. Drive cross functional collaboration between various internal/external stakeholders
- Execution – Overall responsibility for the design and investment to ensure on-time delivery of new products and enhancements. Oversee technical development and product refinements including architecture, requirements, documentation.
- Market & Competitive Analysis – lead and oversee routine market analysis to identify customer needs and trends
- Product Enhancements –solicit customer and market feedback, prepare business case assessment and prioritize future product capabilities/features
- Product Value Contribution – lead and approve areas that directly impact product value generation including product adoption and use (go to market needs, sales target identification, marketing plan, sales training)
- Product Performance – monitor and communicate product performance by championing product quality, establishing and communicating product KPI dashboard and resolving critical product performance issues.
Technical Skill Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in product strategy, product definition, product management, product launch
- 10+ years of healthcare experience

- Strong excel and ppt skills (must have)
