Description -

Job Summary
• This role is responsible for dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and assembling equipment according to relevant blueprints and schematics as well as collecting and assessing data related to the manufacturing process. The role actively tests new products, provides technical assistance to process development and engineering teams, and addresses technical quality issues. The role identifies areas for manufacturing line improvement and ensures updates are integrated into the systems. The role also aligns its work with the company's strategy while demonstrating problem-solving skills and forward planning.

Responsibilities
• Gathers and assesses data concerning both the manufacturing process and associated equipment, and interprets blueprints and schematics relevant to the manufacturing process.
• Tests new products and provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to schematics, repair manuals, or specifications.
• Provides hands-on assistance to resolve technical quality issues related to customer complaints, manufacturing, engineering, test methods, and equipment.
• Identifies potential areas for improvement in the manufacturing line, optimizing tool availability, cycle time, and utilization.
• Manages documentation pertaining to manufacturing and related processes and ensures updates are integrated into the manufacturing systems.
• Aligns individual work with strategy, collaborates with teams to enhance operations and implements process improvements to standardize processes globally.
• Adheres to established standards, ensuring data confidentiality, and supports execution of business processes with independent judgment.
• Completes process-oriented assignments, shares technical information, and supports department-level operational plans.
• Identifies and solves varied problems and completes day-to-day tasks with forward planning and minimal supervision.

Education & Experience Recommended
• High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-6 years of related work experience, preferably in manufacturing systems and equipment maintenance, machine operation, or a related field.
