Talent - Seasonal

ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

TelevisaUnivision is seeking a talented Personality & Producer based in Miami who can do both a highly compelling show and create amazing connections with our audience on and off the air, with the ability to produce an entertaining show that translates from on air to our social & digital channels, and who can collaborate and deliver on the creation and evolution of an exciting new brand each day.

The successful candidate will host daily shows relevant to SL audience. This individual must be a strategic and creative thinker, a self-starter, and a collaborator willing to learn and share ideas.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

• Launch and serve as creative on-air personality with assigned multiplatform shows, airing content as scheduled, and all liners, promos, public service announcements and commercials as logged.
• Develop creative elements for the different multiplatform shows assigned
• Execute production of sports segments as assigned by date of broadcast.
• Plan and schedule Shows’ Guests.
• Liaison to record sports personalities or radio’s guests.
• Strategize in planning promotional events.
• Contribute content for station’s web page and social media
• Regular and timely attendance.
• Appear as assigned by Program Director at station remotes, events, public relations appearances, or any other occasion that the station deems necessary for talent to appear
• Other duties as assigned.

YOU HAVE:

• Team player, creative, organized and enthusiastic.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook software packages. Pro-Tools, Adobe Audition or any music editor;
• Experience and working knowledge of Internet & social media platforms.
• Must be available to work at night and/ or on weekends.
• Multiplatform experience covering SL content. (sports, soccer and MLS in specific)  
• Fluent in English & Spanish (read and write)
• Completion of 3 - 5 years of experience hosting and producing content shows, and similar jobs responsibilities and requirements.
• Knowledge and experience covering newscast & entertainment events.
•  RCS Zetta and Music Master Knowledge, preferred.   
• Journalist or Communications degree is preferred.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, and sit for up to (8) hours
