The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Business Manager to provides strategic leadership to set the direction for the field team within their assigned region in Atlantic Africa (Morocco, Senegal, Nigeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Angola) but not limited to.

You will inspire and motivate your team through coaching, development, and fostering autonomy, delivering exceptional regional results. By using your industry and market knowledge, you will drive customer retention, influence growth, and ensure competitive vigilance.

As a business leader you will be required to drive our growth and customer retention strategies, personally owning, and proactively engaging our strategic partners.

As a people leader you will empower and develop your Sales and Clinical & technical teams, improving productivity and sales efficiency through embedding our global sales excellence frameworks, methodology and processes. Your focus will be on driving a high performance and engaged culture.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in sales leadership with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.

  • Strong skills in critical thinking, strategic planning, and decision-making.

  • Expertise in leveraging data, processes, and business insights to drive success.

  • Strong Project Management skills, with the ability to manage projects from inception through to implementation in a team environment.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage cross functional teams.

  • Excellent people leadership skills, with an ability to inspire and mentor teams while fostering a culture of trust and excellence.

  • Strong understanding of sales process, frameworks and methodologies that help drive a high-performance culture.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Travel extensively within the assigned region and beyond, including weekend work when required.

  • Enthusiastic, dedicated and committed approach to work.

  • Flexibility with working hours to support the customers and the business needs.

  • Attend conferences and events both locally and overseas as required.

  • Ability to operate in diverse and international work environment.

  • Strong communication skills, together with confidence to work with senior management level.

  • Ability to think strategically and show strong operational capabilities at the same time,

  • Proven ability to discuss medical and scientific data.

  • Driven results, performance & operational excellence in the job

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • The position is open in Morocco (Casablanca)

 

Education:

  • Degree BSc in Life science or related areas (Audiology)

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial function in healthcare in Morocco,

  • At least 3 years' experience in a team management role (Minimum 3 direct reports)

  • No fear of making new connections and building new network with so far unknown stakeholders

  • Successful results in meeting exceeding targets, ideally within the medical device sector

  • Excellent understanding of healthcare market in the region, good network is helpful.

  • Excellent local language (of the territory) and English communication skills, both written and spoken
