Director of Nursing

White Oak Estates is seeking a motivated RN to fill our Director of Nursing position. The DON oversees the nursing department for our skilled nursing facility with a long term care and dedicated rehab wing. We have a beautiful center located at 400 Webber Rd in Spartanburg. This position opening is for a Director of Nursing, RN (full time, salary)

This is an exciting time to be a partner of the White Oak Estates team! We enjoy excellent staffing ratios, and a strong team of exceptional RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, as well as a team of corporate nursing consultants dedicated to ensuring your success. Our nurse managers excel in their roles and provide consistent and valuable support for the Director of Nursing.

• The ideal candidate is flexible and innovative with exhibits strong leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, customer service and organizational skills
• Must relate professionally with residents, staff, family members, referral sources, physicians, and vendors
• Coordinates and manages overall operation of the nursing department in accordance with facility policies, nursing standards, and regulatory bodies
• Qualifications include a current RN license, excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and work well with others
• BSN and/or a minimum of three years experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in Geriatrics
• Long term care and supervisory experience required
• Knowledgeable in the interpretation of Federal, State, and local regulations relating to long-term care facilities
