Your Role

As a Housekeeping Aide, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. Your responsibilities will include:

• Dusting, sweeping, and mopping assigned areas
• Emptying and sanitizing trash receptacles
• Cleaning bathrooms and fixtures
• Wiping down walls and chrome fixtures
• Reporting maintenance needs and safety hazards
• Upholding confidentiality and courteous communication
• Participating in ongoing training and reflecting our mission and values in your work
• Applicants will also be cross-trained for Laundry duty as well  

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
• Experience with cleaning or housekeeping preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs regularly, and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and climbing

Work Environment

• Indoor and occasional outdoor work
• Potential exposure to cleaning agents and, rarely, to blood and body fluids
