Working Hours
35 hours per week, 9:30am to 5:30pm but additional hours may be required. We are happy to consider agile and flexible working patterns. Department Description
The Information Technology Department is responsible for all technology services within the firm. The department is a business team function that supports and contributes to the objectives of the legal practice. Members of this department are expected to fit into the firm's culture and be committed to providing a high quality of service to our customers.
Role Overview
The Specialist, Legal Products will support the Legal Products team with:
Updates and maintenance of Knowledge Bank (SharePoint), Legatics, Monday.com, Contract Companion and Jigsaw Supporting with new product releases and enhancement requests
User support during product pilots
New legal product analysis / evaluation
Support our network of Knowledge lawyers with training and ad-hoc requests
System training for new trainees
Supporting migration projects to Cloud platforms
Support for existing and upcoming AI trials
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Develop a subject matter expert level of understanding across the suite of legal products the team supports
Work closely with our vendors to ensure that systems remain up to date, stable and are taking advantage of the latest features
Provide system demonstrations and training to lawyers on the suite of Legal Products
Respond and action requests to the Legal Products Support inbox.
Maintain and update user guides
Monitor system usage and provide regular reporting to the Senior Manager, Legal Products
Participate in the review and assessment of new technologies
Actively promote our suite of Legal Products to our network of Knowledge Lawyers to help increase adoption and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our client offering
Assist in the pilot and rollout of Microsoft Copilot
Work with the team to test new software features and upgrades as they become available
Attend and support internal legal tech events to promote the Legal Products the team supports
Specific duties or responsibilities may be reviewed from time to time to reflect changes in personnel and management structure, staff location or services.

Person Specification
Skills and Experience
Advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Self-management and excellent organisation skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills
Experience of building relationships with internal stakeholders
Experience with knowledge systems in a legal or professional services environment desirable
Experience working in the legal sector
Experience working with new and emerging technologies such as AI desirable
General Attributes
Able to demonstrate the ability to learn new concepts and new products
Able to demonstrate an understanding of the construction of modern software products e.g. Front-end, Database, Cloud etc.)
Have an interest in the future direction of legal technology systems and technology in general
