What You’ll Do:
Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography examinations in accordance with infectious disease, sterilization and patient safety protocols, policies and procedures.
Review patient medical history, evaluate contraindications, obtain patient consent, perform required ultrasound examinations and document findings.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and basic quality control checks.
Ensure sonography exam results meet facility standards for quality assurance.
Coordinate with cross functional clinic teams to ensure exceptional service and client experience.
What You’ll Need:
1+ years of experience as a sonographer performing examinations such as abdominal exams
Breast, transvaginal and transrectal experience an asset
Member of the CMRITO
Ultrasound ARDMS certification an asset
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
This is a full-time role scheduled during regular clinic hours Monday - Saturday at our downtown Toronto location.
Our downtown Toronto clinic is conveniently located at 150 York St., which is nearby St. Andrew station or a 10-minute walk from Union Station!
