Who we are looking for
The purpose of this role is to continue to grow the Financing Solutions business within EMEA and to help achieve State Street Markets key priorities. This role will advance business development for Financing Solutions for EMEA based clients, with responsibility for arranging prospecting meetings, attending conferences, driving marketing activities and client events and interactions. In the context of this role, the employee will provide expertise to market the Prime Services, Secured Financing and Agency Lending products. The role will also identify key market opportunities to advance new product initiatives (synthetic prime, agented repo) with existing and new clients, providing critical feedback to product development colleagues and management team.

What you will be responsible for
As Financing Solutions - EMEA Business Development, Vice President you will -
Sales Leadership
Take responsibility for building and delivering on the business development pipeline to generate growth in Secured Financing, Prime Services and Agency Lending solutions across core markets and broader EMEA region.
Initiate and lead prospecting efforts in support of existing and new financing solutions products.
Working with global business development colleagues with particular focus on global multi-strategy funds.
Manage sales engagement process with the IS teams to advance one State Street deals.
Client Engagement
Deliver highly valued solutions to clients, ensuring comprehensive and consistent delivery of services as their needs evolve.
Ensure a seamless client onboarding experience, through working with client management, client service, onboarding and legal support partners.
Enhance State Street’s presence and credibility in the market by attending conferences, speaking on panels, generating thought leadership material and extensive client and prospect engagement.
Business Collaboration
Collaboration across teams, e.g. product development, onboarding and client management for new product expansions in support of client opportunities, including Agented Repo, Agency Cleared Solutions and Equity Swaps.
Expand existing client coverage across regions including Ireland, Switzerland, Middle East and other relevant alternative markets.
Leverage EMEA repo and prime market expertise to progress additional global centrally cleared financing solutions and new product offerings.

Involvement in industry bodies/organisations
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure all matters with respect to the UK business and broader EMEA business that could have a material adverse impact on State Street, its clients and its relationships with regulators are escalated to the UK Country Committee, the Head of UK, and to relevant corporate control functional heads.
Securities Finance has committed to conducting its UK Money Market activities in adherence with the principles of the Bank of England Money Markets Code of Conduct. Individuals are expected to behave in an ethical and professional manner to promote the fairness and integrity of the UK Markets in line with the Code and the internal policies and procedures applicable to their area of business
Demonstrate commitment to AML risk excellence through the timely and accurate completion of the firm’s “know your customer” due diligence requirements, including for periodic / event driven reviews and in respect of expected v actual transaction activity reviews
Escalate proactively material issues and unusual activity that might have an impact on the management of financial crime risk on an ongoing basis, as well as at the time of client’s periodic and event driven reviews.
Maintain role-specific knowledge of the current anti-money laundering and financial crime risks and issues affecting your business through the completion of the AML Academy, and any other role-based financial crime training applicable to the relevant employee’s role
What we value

Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of repo and centrally cleared financing structures, including FICC sponsored member repo
Understanding of financing products, including Agency Lending and Prime Brokerage activity
Strong knowledge of financial markets, in particular secured funding markets and prime services constructs.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Knowledge of balance sheet and balance sheet strategies/objectives
Knowledge of regulations affecting secured funding businesses and understanding of regulatory measures and ratios (RWA, SLR, LCR, CCAR, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Understanding nuances of different asset classes including structured products

Education & Preferred Qualifications
FCA Registration – Certified Person
Past experience in preparing presentations both internally to senior management and externally to clients
Extracting meaningful information and insights from large and diverse sets of data
Demonstrated ability to concisely summarize and communicate results of quantitative analysis to audiences of varying backgrounds
Building and maintaining client relationships.
Ownership of a sales pipeline, originating and developing opportunities.
