As a Technical Consultant and Project Manager, you will own and drive the technical interface to the customer, provide technical support such as pre-sales and post-sales activities and promote Thales products, services and solutions. You will lead the customer projects

Key responsibilities:                                      

  • You will be the responsible Project Manager for customer projects;
  • You will coordinate the full product definition of an order to make it executable by Operations;
  • You will understand and convert customer needs into requirement specification;
  • You will manage project delivery (validation of customer specification, customer sign-off,  successful handover to operations);
  • You will prepare and maintain project documentation;
  • You will define and follow-up agreed action plan to achieve project goals;
  • You will design and lead initiatives that have a strategic impact on the long-term business relationship with customers and selected partners;
  • You will provide technical support to answer tenders and to prepare contracts;
  • You will cooperate with internal contacts and teams, such as Sales, Customer Service, R&D,  Personalization, Operations, Product Management and Field Marketing;
  • You will gather up customer feedbacks and share them with concerned teams to improve our service level and product portfolio;
  • You will acquire a good knowledge of the Thales products catalogue, promote new products to customer.

           

Our requirements:     

  • To succeed at this job, you should have a strong technical background and experience in the relevant field (preferably smartcard, embedded software or services provider, project management) or equivalent experience within Thales;
  • Knowledge of EMV would be a plus;
  • We are looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, someone who is customer and business oriented;
  • We would like someone to join our team who is able to respond effectively under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Additionally, you should be tenacious in the approach to solve problems, organized, rigorous and autonomous;
  • To perform your daily duties fluent English and German are necessary;
  • Preferable having a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Engineering.
