Job Description Summary

Institutional Technology (IT) is seeking IT Student Assistants to serve as part of our render wrangler team. This part-time position requires specialized skills in specific areas of the Maya/Arnold development pipeline. These student workers will specialize in application and render testing and troubleshooting, high-performance computer cluster testing and
development, developing documentation, answering student questions, and aiding with ongoing maintenance.
We are also looking for Motion Students to assist in the moderation of the new Deadline 10 Render farm who have knowledge of redshift

The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the job:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Application and render testing and troubleshooting

• High-performance computer cluster testing and development

• Developing documentation

• Answering student questions

• Aiding with ongoing maintenance

• Other duties as assigned

Work Location:

CA Students will work on the 3rd floor of Ulla Searing and/or in the IT office. Motion will work in the Academic Center and/or in the IT office

Work Hours:

Work hours are as scheduled, up to 20 hours a week, between 9 am and 10 pm.

Length of Employment:

Academic Year 2025-2026

Qualifications:

Must be a Computer Animation or Motion Design Senior or Junior
