Summary:
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Speech Pathologist to lead our Speech Pathology team at Neta Care HHS. In this role, you will manage and support a team of clinicians in providing goal-focused, holistic therapeutic services. This role includes maintaining a client caseload, ensuring high-quality care, and collaborating with stakeholders and staff to promote client well-being and staff satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders through comprehensive assessments and diagnostic tools.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' specific needs and goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to clients to improve their speech, language, and swallowing abilities, utilizing evidence-based techniques
- Educate clients and their families about disorders, treatment options, and strategies to support progress at home.
- Track and document clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, educators, and caregivers to coordinate care and support clients' overall well-being.
- Provide immediate intervention for clients experiencing severe or urgent issues related to communication or swallowing.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, and client progress, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Masers degree in Speech Pathology
- Current registration with SPA
- Current Paid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Paid Blue Card
- Current First aid and CPR
- Experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
