As a part of the TIO Strategy team, you will lead high-impact, cross-functional strategic programs that advance HP’s long-term technology and business transformation goals. This role will shape and drive key initiatives across TIO and HP’s Business Units (Print, PS, HPS), spanning multiple domains including SW strategy, operational efficiency, developer experience, organizational capability building, and more.

The role brings a unique blend of technical fluency and the ability to structure and communicate strategy clearly to senior and executive leadership. This is a great opportunity to drive sustained impact and alignment across TIO and HP by combining strategic problem-solving, execution discipline, and strong stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate for this role brings a strong track record of leading complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives in large technology organizations, with the ability to translate high-level goals into structured programs, align diverse stakeholders, and deliver measurable business and transformation outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategy and delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives aligned to HP’s long-term transformation priorities (e.g., operational modernization, AI-enablement)
  • Assess emerging AI and technology trends and shifts in customer demands to identify disruptive innovations and opportunities
  • Analyze competitor and industry leader strategies, partnerships and go-to-market motions across the tech value chain to inform differentiated positioning
  • Drive execution of complex cross-functional initiatives within TIO and pan-HP across Business units (Print, PS, HPS)
  • Partner with product, engineering, business, and operations teams to define objectives, KPIs, and execution roadmaps
  • Identify and resolve strategic, operational, or organizational barriers to progress
  • Lead governance and communications across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and accountability, reporting progress for executive stakeholders
  • Bring structure, clarity, and momentum to multi-stakeholder initiatives with high visibility and business impact
  • Capture learnings and feed them into HP’s evolving strategy and capability roadmap

Key Skills:

  • Structured thinking and ability to manage ambiguity
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software systems, cloud platforms, and developer workflows
  • Ability to synthesize complex data from different sources to identify signals and implications for TIO and HP
  • Skilled in deconstructing competitor strategies, product roadmaps and positioning to extract insights and build structured analyses
  • Ability to bridge technical depth with strategic clarity for executive-level communication
  • Experience structuring and leading large, multi-stakeholder programs in matrixed organizations
  • Executive storytelling and strategy framing for high-visibility audiences
  • Structured problem-solving, organizational influence, and outcome orientation
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments

Education & Experience:

  • 10–15 years of experience leading strategic technology programs, ideally with a mix of engineering and strategy roles
  • Proven ability to lead high-profile, cross-functional strategic initiatives with executive-level visibility
  • Comfort with strategic frameworks and financial modeling to support recommendations
  • Experience identifying, evaluating, and interpreting new technologies for potential disruption or partnership
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive alignment among senior stakeholders, and execute critical, time-sensitive initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field desired. MBA in Strategy or Business preferred.

Impact & Scope
• Impacts large functions and leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects.
