In this position

Hailo is looking to hire a motivated and skilled Application Engineer, willing to be located in Seoul, Korea, for a minimum of one year, Reports to Israel HQ.

As an Application Engineer, you will be a key technical figure within Hailo’s.

You will be involved in our top customer projects, working in various software languages on various platforms. This will include having an in-depth technical understanding of the Hailo products offer, as well as supporting technologies (OpenCV, decoding, Vision, and more). You would be the key person to articulate customer needs to R&D, and Hailo products features to the customer in the field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on Hailo's product portfolio, maintaining deep understanding of product features, capabilities, and strategic roadmap
• Develop comprehensive demo applications and technical examples to accelerate customer proof-of-concept development and commercial deployment on Hailo devices
• Guide customers through evaluation and development processes, providing hands-on technical assistance and troubleshooting.
• Develop comprehensive understanding of customer applications, system architectures, and technical requirements to deliver expert support, strategic recommendations, and solution guidance that drives successful product integration and secures design-wins.
• Partner closely with R&D and business teams to achieve critical business milestones and technical objectives.
• Collaborate with product management to identify and drive new product requirements based on customer feedback and market insights.
• Analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to provide strategic insights.
• Contribute market intelligence and technical expertise to senior management for strategic decision-making and company direction.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development environments.
• Deep technical knowledge of C/C++ programming languages, applications, and current industry trends.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of hardware and software integration at the solution level.
• Proven ability to define technical solutions and guide customers through complete AI system implementations.
• Proactive mindset with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with customers, executives, and cross-functional teams.
• Results-driven approach with strong focus on customer success and satisfaction
• Innovative problem-solver who proactively explores new ideas and adapts quickly to changing requirements.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites, industry events, and company offices as needed
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
